OHSA Courses

This course provides structured Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Awareness sessions to organisations, entities and small and medium-sized enterprises. It consists of an eight-hour course combining general OHS awareness with sector-specific training, focusing on legal obligations, hazard identification, risk assessment and practical risk-prevention measures. The training is delivered through interactive sessions at OHSA premises, at participating organisations’ premises or online.

Targeted at company administrators, policy managers, project leaders, OHS officers and employees with responsibility for OHS.

This course provides practical guidance on recognising psychosocial risks in the workplace. It also supports the prevention of these risks in line with the employer’s responsibility under the updated Health and Safety at Work Act, 2024, which now includes both physical and psychological well-being. It focuses on proactive strategies that strengthen well-being, reduce risk, and promote a positive organisational culture.
